On this month's cover: Branded with the ASTEC漏 name, the self-contained DD-9014 is compact and will excel in hard-to-reach jobsites, and is capable of enough mechanical muscle to provide fi eld proven performance in the toughest of trenchless applications. Th e DD-9014 is equipped with a Caterpillar庐 230 HP (171.1 kW) C-6.6 Tier III Diesel Engine, and provides 40 t of maximum thrust/pullback. Th e DD-9014 is engineered, manufactured, and made available from American Augers.

On this month's cover: The American Augers designed and manufactured VR-330 drill rig seen drilling for natural gas well in Louisville, Ohio. Th e VR-330 is complete with 150 t of maximum hook load, and two 365 horsepower diesel engines. The prototype VR-330 will be replaced in Autumn 2008 with the brand new VR-500 vertical drilling rig, which will be branded with the American Directional Drill name.
