EVRAZ North America supports the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) finding that Canadian producers have been injured due to dumped and subsidised imports of certain line pipe products from China. The decision applies anti-dumping and countervailing duty measures, established by the Canada Border Services Agency, to restore market-based pricing to Chinese exporters.

鈥淭oday鈥檚 decision allows Canadian pipe manufacturers to compete more effectively in an exceptionally difficult oil and gas market,鈥 said Conrad Winkler, President and CEO of EVRAZ North America.

鈥淓VRAZ and other steel operations continue to be impacted by the flood of unfairly traded line pipe imports. We are eager to compete globally on a level playing field based on actual economics and capabilities, but we cannot compete with government subsidies and dumping practices.鈥
