During a recent meeting, Gazprom and BASF addressed joint hydrocarbon production projects in Russia.

Alexey Miller and Klaus Schaefer, of Gazprom and Uniper respectively, have confirmed their commitment to delivering Nord Stream 2 on time.

Russian energy giant, Gazprom, is currently pursuing a number of major oil and gas investment projects, such as the TurkStream pipeline, Power of Siberia trunk line and predevelopment of the Chayandinskoye field.

Nord Stream 2 has recently awarded an offshore pipelay contract to Allseas.

At a recent working meeting between Alexey Miller (Gazprom) and Rainer Seele (OMV), the parties discussed the crucial role that Nord Stream 2 will play and considered Russian gas supplies to Austria.

Between 1 February and 15 February, Gazprom鈥檚 exports to Germany increased by 37%.

It has been rumoured that Hungary are interested in receiving gas via the TurkStream pipeline.

At the European Gas Conference 2017, Gazprom鈥檚 Alexander Medvedev suggested that investment decisions need to be made in the continent. He Also noted that Nord Stream 2 is being implemented as planned.

Alexey Miller has met with and briefed Vladimir Putin on Gazprom鈥檚 performance in 2016.

Gazprom鈥檚 management committee has considered and commended the progress made on the Nord Stream 2 project.
