EU faces Nord Stream 2 hurdle

The European Union reportedly no longer has legal grounds to block the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, but it hopes to negotiate an agreement with Moscow.

Gazprom recently reviewed its goals of the 鈥榊ear of Occupational Safety鈥, which was held in 2016. The company held workshops for managers and workers to help better organise and conduct hazardous operations. The initiative also promoted labour safety awareness among youth.

The presidents of Russia and Turkey have had a meeting to discuss the implementation of the TurkStream natural gas pipeline project.

 

Gazprom to announce Nord Stream 2 financing deal

Gazprom is set to announce a financing package for the US$11 billion Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline by the end of the month. The company also forecasts its gas export revenues to grow to US$35 billion in 2017.
