Cortez Subsea secures first contract in West Africa

Rapidly growing subsea services and technology products' company Cortez Subsea has secured its first contract in Ghana for pipeline inspection work worth US$ 1 million.

Cortex Subsea will perform pipeline inspection and commissioning activities using a work class remotely operated vehicle (ROV) for Microperi Marine Contractors.

The award marks the first contract for Cortez Subsea in West Africa and follows on from projects in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Middle East, extending the company's reach form its North Sea base to supplying tailored subsea services to the global market.

Managing director Alasdair Cowie said, 鈥淥ver the past 12 months, we鈥檝e made a significant investment in new equipment, technologies and staff ensuring we have the workforce and systems in place to respond to customers鈥 needs quickly and cost-effectively anywhere in the world.
