BTC pipeline resumes oil transportation

As reported by news sources, the transportation of oil through the 1768 km Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline has resumed, Azerbaijan’s Energy Ministry told Trend.
According to the Ministry, approximately 90 000 t of oil has been exported through the pipeline in 2017.
Running through Azerbaijan (443 km), Georgia (249 km), and Turkey (1076 km) to the Ceyhan Marine Terminal, the BTC pipeline has the capacity to export 1 million bpd of oil.
