The Brazilian company, MACSEA, is now part of EIVA鈥檚 international representative network of offshore specialists. The underwater technology expert MACSEA has signed a contract with Danish EIVA, thereby including both software and hardware solutions from the subsea engineering company in the MACSEA product portfolio.

鈥淲e are seeing an increasing interest in our solutions at the moment in Brazil, as a result of a large number of ongoing and planned offshore activities. With this comes the need for strengthening our presence in the country through local representatives,鈥� said EIVA Sales Director, Jakob M酶ller Nielsen.

Consequently, EIVA signed a representative agreement with Brazilian MACSEA this week. This makes the latter representative for both software and hardware technologies from EIVA in the country, which accounts for a large proportion of the global offshore capital expenditures.

MACSEA is headquartered in Maca茅, Rio de Janeiro, and specialises in providing technical services and products for the offshore oil and gas, energy and oceanography industries.

The MACSEA team consist of underwater technology specialists with 15 years of experience on average in sales and service of underwater technology. This allows the company to offer customers a skilful technical customer support staff for quality and maintenance and repair services on electrical and electronic subsea equipment.

Also on the list of services offered by MACSEA are project and asset management.

鈥淲e have been searching the Brazilian offshore industry for an additional representative for a while. A key parameter in choosing MACSEA was that the services the company offers follow EIVA鈥檚 philosophy of assisting customers throughout the life cycle of a product or project,鈥� said Nielsen.
