PipeLine Machinery International (PLM) has launched Cat庐 Equipment Management Solutions (EMSolutions) for the pipeline construction industry.

EMSolutions helps customers to monitor, control and manage their equipment while increasing jobsite efficiency. The solution was developed to provide remote access to equipment data and provide support to the user.

EMSolutions is enabled by Product Link庐 technology that collects data directly from equipment and provides access to valuable information via the VisionLink庐 Web application. This helps you make better decisions faster based on equipment location, fuel burn, alerts and more.

EMSolutions offers the ability to:

• See equipment at a glance with the Fleet Summary view.
• Monitor daily fuel usage, route fuel trucks efficiently and track equipment usage day-by-day, hour-by- hour to effectively manage performance and condition of assets.
• Compare working time vs. idle time to improve utilisation.
• Analyse asset alerts and provide co-ordination for service, increasing efficiency and reducing downtime.
