Element Materials Technology has completed the relocation and expansion of its Antwerp (Belgium) facility, further strengthening its presence in the north European oil and gas sector for its key clients in Belgium, and in French-language speaking markets within Europe.

Investments

This latest venture by Element increases the new facility鈥檚 capacity by a massive 70% and delivers significant improvements to lead times, including reductions to turnaround time (TAT) for its clients by as much as two days. The new facility also has significant potential for further expansion.

This start-of-the-art facility is fully accredited by the Belgian Accreditation Organisation, BELAC. It conducts testing to European standards including NEN-EN-ISO/IEC17025 and Euronorm, in addition to many international testing standards, such as AWS, ASTM and API.

The move demonstrates Element鈥檚 continued commitment to the oil and gas majors and their supply chain partners located in Europe. Element鈥檚 growing global platform allows clients in the oil and gas sector to leverage comprehensive expertise, including leading fracture mechanic capabilities at Element Breda (Netherlands), sour service capabilities at Element Amsterdam (Netherlands), and the recently announced Engineering Critical Assessment (ECA) services in Aberdeen, UK and Houston, TX.
