Ensure your Weld Purging System doesn't burst

Many Inflatable Tube and Pipe Weld Purging Systems are at risk of over-inflating during the weld purging process. Once a burst occurs, the purge is lost and the weld will immediately oxidise in the presence of incoming air. The welder will then have to cease welding, grind out the oxidation and start the whole process again. On pipes below 36鈥 diameter, the inside may not be accessible and the total joint may need to be cut out, leading to lengthy delays and high add-on costs.
Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT庐 has designed and now manufactures a PurgeGate庐 Valve System in order to prevent any over-pressurising of Inflatable Tube and Pipe Weld Purging Systems.
Georgia Gascoyne CEO of Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT庐 said: 鈥淭hese innovative devices, which are fitted as standard on our HotPurge庐 and QuickPurge庐 Systems (PurgeGate II), are offered as accessories for the PurgElite庐, PurgExtra庐 and any other manufacturers versions of Inflatable Tube and Pipe Purging Systems.鈥
PurgeGate庐 Valves have an easy push fit connection and are simply, plug and play. They fit all system sizes, from 1 in. to 96 in. and can be moved from system to system.
